New Year’s Eve Fundraising Gala Ball Report

The annual HAPC New Year’s Eve fundraiser was held at the exquisite Radisson Park Inn Hotel in Heathrow for the fourth consecutive year and attracted another sell-out crowd.  700+ guests, most of whom checked-in at the hotel, revelled in the music, food and drinks all night from 7pm until a later finish time of 3am.

This year, we were privileged to host HAPC’s newly appointed honorary patron, The Right Honourable Sir Vince Cable, and wife The Honourable Lady Cable (Rachel), as our chief guests at the Gala Ball.  Sir Vince’s presence generated its own special atmosphere with excited guests waiting for the opportunity for a quick word and a photograph.  Sir Vince delivered a speech shortly after bringing in the New Year, to congratulate HAPC on its achievements, expressing how delighted he is to be part of the charity.  Sir Vince did also emphasise the charity’s need for more support.  The following day Sir Vince tweeted “Spent New Year at Goan dance promoting a great little charity helpapoorchild.com”

The Management Team would like to extend its sincere thanks to all those who attended and supported the Gala Ball 2015 and for supporting our projects for the underprivileged children we work with in Asia and Africa.

Below, Sir Vince Cable’s New Year’s day tweet and some images from the gala event.
