The 1993 Lottery – the second held by HAPC – was a success in raising a profitslightly greater than the profit in 1992.

A night to remember again at Ally Pally – but with a difference. The gigantic hall was a picture in balloonology. Besides the tables having their own decorations, thecomplete dance floor was canopied over and a great arch formed behind the stage – all arranged by Balloonland.

Last year’s Gala Ball, at Alexandra Palace for the first time, also witnessed HAPC’s first lottery draw, with a total prize money of £4,500.
5th August 1991
On July 9th 1991, the name of HELP A POOR CHILD was formally entered in the Central Register of Charities. This is a signifacant achievement for the Charity and one that has been sought after, following a decision by the management committee last year, to abandon our status as a non-registered charity.
