Marian Education Centre

The main project has been the assistance given to the Marian Education Centre to help build the present building at Picnic Garden. The new two-storied building measuring about 6,600 sq ft houses several projects, a nursery, a day care centre, evening school and a computer centre.The multipurpose hall will serve as a Community/Youth Centre – a place where the community can come and relax together and experience the possibilities that emerge from coming together.

National Open School, Delhi, to which MEC is accredited, offers several courses in Vocational training to prepare our children to earn while they learn, and also open up opportunities to them for self-employment later on.

Some of the courses are planned to assist as many children as possible, especially those with low educational level, a job on the site if he/she is willing to work.

The young ones will be encouraged to pursue their education with interest and joy especially by accessing computer educational programmes that can make education interesting and worthwhile.
