
HAPC Sri Lanka branch now fully operational

On 14th August, an excited HAPC Sri Lanka chairperson, Hemanthi Goonasekera, contacted HAPC’s London headquarters and informed them, that the the Sri Lankan branch of the charity had been granted its long awaited registration. Hemanthi said “We can now operate without any obstacles. I was waiting for this to come first so that we can start functioning properly. Together with my committee members and band of helpers, we cannot wait to get started on some important projects, which we have been planning for a while.

The charity is very grateful to Hemanthi whose personal efforts helped bring about the registration. The UK branch of the charity was just as excited on hearing the news of this important landmark and is looking forward to working closely with Hemanthi in establishing projects, to bring lasting change to some of the poor children of Sri Lanka.
