Represent Us

Be a representative and spread the word!
Small charities such as ours cannot afford advertising or public relations. We rely on the goodwill of volunteers to get our message out to like-minded people who might assist us with our many tasks. If you can give some time to publicise the urgent needs of HELP A POOR CHILD or to tackle fundraising, we are ready to offer support for such activities. Please contact us for more information.

Corporate Representation

Corporate Firms might be interested in a particular HELP A POOR CHILD project which you identify with and would like to support. Here, HELP A POOR CHILD acts as a link between you and your selected project, and is responsible for monitoring its working through our local branches. The charity also provides non-financial inputs to the project, like training, technical expertise, communication and information support.Corporates can choose to support an entire project or just a part of it, based on its area of focus (like education, health, vocational training) – or its target child-related issue – (eg. the girl child, child labourers, etc).

For instance American Express Bank, Delhi has adopted a project called Swathi that works at Tigri, a slum on the southern fringes of Delhi, focusing on education and functional literacy for children and adults. The bank has a comprehensive in-house citizenship programme, which encourages its employees to contribute, both monetarily and by getting involved with the project.
Some organisations have chosen projects near their plants. Others have focused on projects in a particular state, which they felt needed development.
For more information on participating in HELP A POOR CHILD’s movement for child rights through this scheme or to meet with a representative of the charity, please contact your local HELP A POOR CHILD office.
