HAPC sets up operations in the Nilgiris, South India

11th February 2008

HELP A POOR CHILD (Nilgiris) was successful in its application to be registered as a Trust on 11th February 2008.

For one committed supporter of the charity, this was an important and momentous day.  Since meeting with HAPC (UK) President, Flavio Gracias, at summit in Goa last April 2007, Rev. P.G. Anjaneyan has been working tirelessly on plans to establish a branch in the Nilgiris with a single aim – to help as many of the poor orphans in the area.

Rev. PG said “I have been trusting Jesus for the past 43 years of my life.  God has had a great influence in my life and I knew this day would come when He would give me the opportunity to fulfil a lifelong ambition of helping the poor through a structured organisation like HELP A POOR CHILD.  I am so excited to have obtained our registration and cannot wait to get started with some meaningful projects.”
