
HAPC USA Incorporates in Massachusetts, USA

Help A Poor Child, USA is proud to announce that it has officially been incorporated in the State of Massachusetts (as of April 10, 2007), as “Help A Poor Child, Incorporated”, and has formed and appointed its initial Board of Directors. The Board of Directors, is comprised of the following individuals: Ramani Varanasi (President), Vinayak Antarkar (Treasurer), Gaytri Kachroo (Secretary), and Scotland Willis (Executive Director). This team collectively brings more than 50 years of corporate and non-profit industry experience.
Here is some brief information about the current team members:
Vinayak is currently a Senior Director in a telecommunications company inNew Hampshire and heads up and manages the Product Deployment Engineering Group, a group responsible for engineering support and architecture of telecommunications solutions.
Gaytri is a Partner at a Boston-based law firm, specializing in the practice of transactional international and domestic business law, and represents small to medium sized companies as outside general counsel.
Scotland is an independent management consultant specializing in strategy consulting and has worked extensively in the areas of strategic planning, organizational development, including leadership development and customer management systems, to name a few.
Ramani is a Senior Director at a private biotechnology company in Bostonand heads up and manages the Business Development group, where she is also involved in developing and implementing the corporate business strategy.
The US team is pleased to join the efforts of the other international HAPC chapters and is excited about the opportunity to participate in this meaningful endeavor to lend a helping hand to children and families in need.
HAPC USA is based in Boston, MA and is mainly a fundraising branch of Help A Poor Child. We are enlisting volunteers to be part of additional Executive Committees – to participate in the areas of communications/marketing, event planning and fundraising.
