Treat for tribal children

The group of children are from the tribe of Adivasis  who are the first owners – the soil of India and to whom some are now trying to wipe of the face of the land.

These group of Adivasis children were invited by Mother Colombiere and St. Anne’s, from the Jungle to Bombay for four days.  I doubt if these children would want to go to heaven after this. This has been heaven for them. They travelled by bus and train, things they have never done before – living in the jungle of Unarpade. They were taken around Bombay for three full days. A video was taken of them and they almost fainted to see themselves running in the TV screens.

They were fed to their hearts’ delight and Father Marchio of Don Bosco, took these children into a large hall where they were thousands of clothes donated by people from Europe and he gave each child the liberty to take as much as they wanted.
