Help A Poor Child, USA is proud to announce that it has officially been incorporated in the State of Massachusetts (as of April 10, 2007), as “Help A Poor Child, Incorporated”, and has formed and appointed its initial Board of Directors. The Board of Directors, is comprised of the following individuals: Ramani Varanasi (President), Vinayak Antarkar (Treasurer), Gaytri Kachroo (Secretary), and Scotland Willis (Executive Director). This team collectively brings more than 50 years of corporate and non-profit industry experience.

Mumbai orphanage receives aid

30th November 2006

The HAPC Mumbai team, led by Bishop Agnelo and Theresa Carassco, planned a aid programme in one of the mission areas, Mahad (a place near Ratnagiri), on November 12, 2006.   Arrangements were made with  a local Priest to take the team there.

Launch of Cash Box Collection Programme

25th October 2006

The Charity is seeking volunteers to increase its fund-raising efforts with the launch of its Office, Stores & Street collection programme.

Collections can take place in stores, shops or office reception areas. This requires volunteers to obtain authorised sealed cash boxes (see image below) from the charity promoter. The promoter will manage the collection.
