Following his heroic fund-raising efforts, HAPC Committee Member, Druve Patel, investigated the possibility of starting a project to educate some poor children in Gambia. His discovered that schooling is not free in Gambia; therefore many parents simply cannot afford to send their children to school, causing many children to be uneducated.
During his travels to Gambia, Druve met with a Gambian, Mattar Jallow, who worked with Druve by donating some land with HAPC agreeing to the funding of the school building and maintenance.
